This month gives us a unique process and opportunity regarding the “Land of Israel,” which is a central point of the weekly energy and portion known as Shlach Lecha. From a kabbalistic perspective, the “Land of Israel is the energy center of the world. All of the Light, blessings, and sustenance that the world receives flows through the land of Israel. So there is a necessity, especially for those of us who do not live in Israel, to maintain a constant connection, not to the physical land, but to the energy of the land.
